The Mission of Soar with Science is to "Build Success"

The Vision of Soar with Science is: "Success through Self"
We encourage students to recognize and develop successful practices.

The Objectives of Soar with Science are to: "Teach, Inform, Motivate"
Soar with Science presents "Your Decision, Your Future, Your Success," a 60 minute thought provoking presentation using science demonstrations with audience volunteers that encourages youth to consider their future careers. The lively presentation centres on the ‘4A Plan for Success' to motivate students to reach and use their potential in four easily identified and relatable components of success - Abilities, Attendance, Attitude, Assignments.

The demonstrations, with student assistance and participation, are interesting, informative, enjoyable and memorable. Participants learn more about themselves, science and careers. Local organizers provide suitable liability insurance. Each presentation may be tailored to local themes, goals and objectives.

The Goals of Soar with Science are:
   To help create an education system that puts the learner's achievement at the centre of all decision making
                and embraces a culture of learning, through Soar with Science presentations across Canada.
   To help create and develop an Aboriginal Mentorship Program "Education and Health for Life."

The Desired Outcome of the Soar with Science program is: "a better future for youth"

Current Features of the Soar with Science Presentation :

Optional Features of the Soar with Science program include:
- Community presentations
- in-class presentations

Additional Local Opportunities provided by Soar with Science are:
- Offer special events (over one or two days) such as science/engineering competitions & Olympics
- opportunities for teacher professional development (covering classes or making presentations to groups of students

Costs of Soar with Science program are:
- an honourarium and travel expenses for the presenter and role models
- consumable expenses
- any technical services that are required.
These vary depending on location, staff and facilities available.
Local organizers provide suitable liability insurance.
Local assistance (from teachers, students, staff) is required for set up, staging and take down.
